RES Americas is one of the top renewable energy companies in the country.  We have been developing, constructing, owning, and operating renewable energy projects since 1997.  With over 3,400 megawatts (MW) of renewable projects constructed, which represents approximately 14% of the operating wind farms in the US, RES Americas is a leader in this growing industry.

Our parent company RES Group, headquartered in the U.K., was founded in 1982 and has a long history of developing, constructing, and owning wind projects.  It is part of the Sir Robert McAlpine group, a leading civil engineering and construction business, which was founded in 1869.  RES Group has about 89 wind projects with a capacity of more than 4,911 MW around the world, of which 3,799 MW were constructed or are under construction by RES Americas.   

RES Americas is deeply involved in the research and development opportunities of other forms of renewable energy, which will play a larger role in meeting future energy needs.  Currently, we are developing commercial-scale solar projects in several states.
